South West of Andros lies Long Island, your next destination. You will land at the Stella Maris Airport.  Close by is the super resort, the Stella Maris resort and Villas,  at which you will be staying.  Here you may enjoy the many activities, including a " shark dive ", which is unequaled any place in the world. Caribbean reef sharks congregate here and are on friendly terms with Dive Masters.  This unique encounter is safe and dependable. A video souvenir is included. Several ship wrecks litter the ocean floor in this divers paradise, and the wall diving is breath taking.  On land your tour will take you to view High Cliffs, Pulling Hills, Peaceful Coves.  Long island has many varied and wonderful faces. You will hike to the Columbus monument and down into caves complete with Colombian and early Indian drawings.

The nearby reef offer the snorkler a glimpse of just about every type of coral and colorful fish imaginable.  Sea turtles swim nearby and on the Caribbean side of the island precious shells are found in the grasses near shore.

On Long Island, the rich bounty of the land and sea are its greatest asset, one you are invited to share.
